Senior Accounting Manager

Job Summary

Seeking a highly motivated Senior Accounting Manager, the full-time remote position will manage the entire accounting function, ensuring technical compliance with ASC 606, overseeing financial reporting, payroll, and internal controls while leading a small team of accountants.

Key responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial statements under US GAAP
• Lead complex revenue recognition under ASC 606 and serve as the internal expert for technical accounting research
• Run bi-weekly payroll and oversee accounts payable, expense management, and AR/collections to optimize cash flow

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role
• Hands-on expertise with NetSuite and payroll processing in ADP or a comparable platform
• Deep knowledge of US GAAP and ASC 606 for SaaS revenue recognition
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; active CPA preferred
• Experience in a fast-paced environment with a player-coach mindset
