Senior Accounting Manager

Job Summary

Seeking a highly motivated Senior Accounting Manager, the full-time remote position will oversee the entire accounting function, manage a small team, ensure compliance with ASC 606, and handle financial reporting and payroll operations.

Key responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial close, ensuring accurate financial statements under US GAAP
• Lead revenue recognition under ASC 606 for subscription and usage-based models, serving as the internal expert for technical accounting
• Run bi-weekly payroll, oversee accounts payable and collections, and design internal controls while coordinating annual audits

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a management or supervisory role
• Hands-on expertise in NetSuite and payroll processing in ADP or a comparable platform
• Deep knowledge of US GAAP and ASC 606, with experience in technical accounting research
• Strong player-coach profile, comfortable with both strategic and hands-on accounting tasks
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; active CPA preferred
