Senior Accounting Manager

Job Summary

Overseeing accounting operations for a multi-national technology company, the full-time Senior Accounting Manager will manage a team of three accountants, ensure compliance with US GAAP, and drive process improvements while working remotely from Ireland.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and mentor a GL team, promoting high-performance and continuous improvement
• Own the month-end close process and lead initiatives for process improvement and compliance with US GAAP
• Act as the subject matter expert on technical accounting areas and support cross-functional teams in financial planning efforts

Required qualifications

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA) with a minimum of 5+ years PQE, including 2+ years of people management experience
• Expertise in financial systems, preferably NetSuite, and advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills
• Strong understanding of US GAAP and audit regulations
