Senior Accounting Manager

Job Summary

Owning the full accounting lifecycle for the Parcel and Freight business lines, the full-time Senior Accounting Manager will manage revenue recognition, billing accuracy, and cost management while serving as the primary finance partner for internal systems teams in a remote capacity.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end billing accuracy and revenue recognition for parcel and freight transactions
• Lead expense review and accrual processes for carrier costs and freight payables
• Serve as the finance and accounting lead for Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and related data workflows

Required qualifications

• 5-8 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a lead or supervisory role
• Background in transportation or logistics, with knowledge of parcel and freight billing processes
• Proficiency in ERP systems, particularly NetSuite or similar enterprise systems
• Experience with data analysis tools such as SQL, Tableau, or Looker
• Strong understanding of GAAP revenue recognition and accrual accounting principles
