Senior Accounting Manager
Job Summary
To support a growing accounting team, the full-time Senior Accounting Manager will oversee transaction recording in compliance with GAAP, supervise and develop team members, and identify process improvements while working remotely.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage a team ensuring accurate recording of transactions and compliance with accounting policies
- Lead process improvement initiatives and act as a subject matter expert in accounting systems
- Analyze account fluctuations and prepare reconciliations for management review
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 7+ years of experience in the accounting industry
- In-depth understanding of US GAAP
- Experience with accounting systems such as SAP and Blackline
- Experience in retail or healthcare sectors is a plus
