Senior Accounting Manager

Job Summary

Leading day-to-day accounting operations, the full-time Senior Accounting Manager will manage a team of accountants, oversee month-end close processes, and implement scalable financial workflows in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and develop a team of 3+ accountants, setting priorities and providing coaching on technical accounting and process improvements
• Own the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting
• Drive process improvements and automation initiatives across the accounting function, leveraging technology to enhance operational efficiency

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of accounting and/or audit experience, including at least 5 years in a management role
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA preferred
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and experience in high-growth environments
• Public accounting experience (Big 4 or large firm) and/or in-house experience at a high-growth or pre-IPO company
• Hands-on experience with accounting software, particularly Netsuite, and a history of utilizing automation tools
