Senior Accounting Manager
Job Summary
To support a growing company, the full-time Senior Accounting Manager will lead day-to-day accounting operations, build financial infrastructure, and ensure timely GAAP-compliant financial reporting in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Own the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes, delivering accurate financial statements
- Maintain a well-documented general ledger and manage accounts payable and receivable functions
- Build and enforce internal controls while preparing the company for audits and future financing rounds
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA strongly preferred
- 5 to 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, particularly in a high-growth SaaS environment
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and experience with ASC 606 revenue recognition
- Proven ability to manage month-end close and prepare financial statements
- Experience in building accounting processes in an early-stage environment
