Senior Accounting Manager
Job Summary
To support a diverse portfolio of fast-growing consumer brands, the full-time Senior Accounting Manager will manage a team of accountants, oversee inventory accounting processes, and deliver high-quality financial reporting while working remotely with occasional in-person meetings.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and mentor a team of accountants, overseeing their development and career growth
- Lead the month-end close process and prepare consolidated financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Identify and implement best practices for inventory accounting, including the selection of inventory management systems
Required Qualifications
- 7 years of operational accounting experience with a focus on inventory accounting
- Proven experience in building and managing a team
- Undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance
- Strong knowledge of cost accounting and inventory management systems
- Experience with QBO and familiarity with Netsuite, Shopify, and related software tools
