Senior Accounting Officer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Accounting Officer in Corporate Accounting.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepares month-end reconciliations of loans to the general ledger and monthly loan reports
• Assists in allowance calculations and prepares supporting schedules related to the allowance inputs and outputs
• Prepares quarterly loan footnotes, MD&A, and special purpose reports while ensuring proper functioning of banking software for loan interfaces

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university
• Proficiency in banking policies and regulations
• Experience with accounting software and spreadsheet programs
• Ability to analyze complex documents and respond to sensitive inquiries
• Knowledge of advanced mathematical and statistical principles
