Senior Accounting Onboarding Specialist

Job Summary

To support a growing client base, the remote Senior Accounting Onboarding Specialist will guide new clients through system setup, data clean-up, and account activation, managing a high volume of onboarding timelines and deliverables while fostering strong client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Lead daily client meetings to gather financial data and build trust with clients from the initial call
• Set up and configure Uplinq and QuickBooks Online accounts, resolving integration and access issues
• Manage multiple onboarding timelines and proactively address any potential delays in the process

Required qualifications

• 6+ years in a client-facing accounting or onboarding role, preferably at a public or multi-client accounting firm
• 6+ years of daily QuickBooks Online experience, including setup, integrations, and troubleshooting
• Strong knowledge of cash- and accrual-based accounting principles
• Ability to manage 25+ active client relationships simultaneously with effective communication and follow-through
• Confident and personable presence with clients, capable of discussing scope and pricing adjustments directly
