Senior Accounts Payable Analyst

Job Summary

Leading a team of Accounts Payable Analysts, the full-time Senior Accounts Payable Analyst will manage accounts payable operations, institute best practices, and drive improvements in vendor payment processes while working remotely.

Key responsibilities:

• Track vendor statement analysis and address recurring payment issues
• Lead training for AP Analysts on vendor reconciliation practices and act as the main contact for payment escalations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive automation and efficiencies in the Procure-to-Pay process

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field from an accredited college or university
• Four years of relevant experience in a leadership role within Accounting or Accounts Payable
• Understanding of SOX and Tax compliance related to supplier invoices and payments
• Proficiency in Excel and experience with ERP systems, preferably Lawson
• Ability to manage vendor relationships and streamline accounts payable processes
