Senior Accounts Payable Specialist

Job Summary

To support a growing financial team, the full-time Senior Accounts Payable Specialist will manage complex accounts payable matters, process vendor invoices and employee reimbursements, and maintain vendor relationships while working remotely from Texas, Colorado, or California.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for complex accounts payable inquiries and resolve issues with professionalism
• Process vendor invoices and employee reimbursements accurately and timely, ensuring compliance with company policies
• Assist with month-end and year-end close activities, including account reconciliations and AP-related journal entries

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive accounts payable experience, preferably in a law firm or professional services environment
• Demonstrated knowledge of month-end close procedures and general ledger accounting
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field preferred
• Certified Accounts Payable Professional (CAPP) certification preferred
• Experience with legal billing systems such as TimeSolv is preferred but not required
