Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Accounts Receivable Clerk, National Remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Review open accounts receivable and analyze unpaid claim balances
• Research and resolve government payer claim denials
• Perform follow-up activities with timeliness, efficiency, and accuracy

Required Qualifications

• High school education or GED
• 3+ years of major medical insurance collections experience, particularly with Medicaid and governmental plans
• Advanced understanding of healthcare revenue cycle, especially in hospitals and multi-specialty clinics
• Ability to navigate patient accounting systems and billing systems
• Thorough understanding of HIPAA guidelines
