Senior Accounts Receivable Representative

Job Summary

To ensure timely and accurate billing and collections, the full-time Senior Accounts Receivable Representative will manage payments from insurance carriers and agencies for services provided by Home and Community Care Services, working remotely during daytime hours.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee billing and collections processes for various service lines including Skilled Nursing Facility and Long Term Care
• Collaborate with insurance carriers to resolve payment issues and ensure compliance with regulations
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to billing and reimbursement activities

Required qualifications

• 4 years of recent experience in healthcare billing and follow-up, focusing on reimbursement and collections
• Experience with insurance contracts and Medicare/Medicaid regulations
• Knowledge of medical billing software and systems
• Understanding of the Skilled Nursing and Long Term Care billing processes
• Completion of college-level courses in medical front office or medical billing is preferred
