Senior Accounts Receivable Representative

Job Summary

To ensure timely and accurate billing and collections for services provided by Home and Community Care Services, the full-time Senior Accounts Receivable Representative will manage payments from insurance carriers and agencies in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee billing and collections processes for various service lines, including Skilled Nursing Facility and Long Term Care
• Ensure compliance with insurance contracts and Medicare/Medicaid regulations
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve payment discrepancies and improve collection processes

Required qualifications

• 4 years of recent experience in healthcare billing and follow-up with a focus on reimbursement and collections
• Experience with insurance contracts and/or Medicare/Medicaid regulations
• Knowledge of billing software such as Point Click Care, ECS, or MatrixCare is preferred
• College-level coursework in medical front office or medical billing is a plus
• Experience in Skilled Nursing or Long Term Care billing is advantageous
