Senior Accounts Receivable Specialist

Job Summary

Senior Accounts Receivable Specialist is a full-time position responsible for monitoring workflow trends, training new employees, and preparing reports to ensure timely processing of claims.

Key Responsibilities

• Train new employees and monitor their production and quality assurance
• Review reports for open and pended invoices and escalate issues as necessary
• Assist the team in achieving monthly metrics and goals while preparing quality assurance reports

Required Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of physician billing policies and procedures
• Minimum of 3 years of medical billing experience with an emphasis on accounts receivable analysis
• High school diploma or equivalent
• General knowledge of ICD and CPT coding
• Computer literate with a working knowledge of Excel
