Senior Accounts Receivable Specialist

Job Summary

Managing complex accounts, the full-time Senior Accounts Receivable Specialist will oversee credit, collections, billing, and cash receipts while serving as the subject matter expert for specialized accounts, working remotely from Ohio or Colorado.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor A/R aging and customer accounts to minimize past due accounts
• Initiate collection communications and collaborate with internal departments to ensure accurate billing and timely collections
• Perform customer credit analysis and resolve complicated account issues with minimal supervision

Required qualifications

• GED or high school diploma; Associate's degree preferred
• Advanced knowledge of multiple billing systems and specialized advertising programs
• Strong accounting and analytical skills to reconcile complex transactions and resolve billing issues
• Proficiency in Excel, including the ability to create spreadsheets using formulas
• Comprehensive understanding of program-specific invoicing and revenue recognition processes
