Senior Accounts Receivable Specialist
Job Summary
Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Senior Accounts Receivable Specialist will verify and post routine and complex payments from customers, ensuring accuracy and timeliness while managing various financial transactions and resolving discrepancies.
Key responsibilities
- Ensures accurate and prompt application of customer payments based on service level objectives
- Processes and records all payment types, including ACH, wires, and lockbox activity
- Reconciles payment discrepancies by collaborating with internal teams to resolve issues without disrupting customer service
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or a minimum of 3 years of related work experience
- Advanced knowledge of PC-based application software, particularly Google Sheets
- Strong accounting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Experience in driving process improvements and mentoring others
- Motivated self-starter with effective written and verbal communication skills
