Senior Accounts Receivable Specialist

Job Summary

Responsible for the timely and accurate billing and collections of payments from insurance carriers and agencies, the full-time Senior Accounts Receivable Specialist will work remotely to support services provided by Home and Community Care Services.

Key responsibilities

• Manage billing and collections processes for various service lines, including Skilled Nursing Facility and Long Term Care
• Ensure compliance with insurance contracts and Medicare/Medicaid regulations
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve billing discrepancies and improve collection efficiency

Required qualifications

• 4 years of recent experience in healthcare billing and follow-up with a focus on reimbursement and collections
• Experience with insurance contracts and Medicare/Medicaid regulations
• Completion of college-level courses in medical front office or medical billing is preferred
• Familiarity with Point Click Care, ECS, or MatrixCare systems
• Experience in Skilled Nursing or Long Term Care billing is advantageous
