Senior Active Directory Consultant

Job Summary

To support an enterprise Active Directory security and migration initiative, the contract Senior Active Directory Security Hardening Consultant will work remotely to assess, remediate, and secure a complex, multi-domain Active Directory environment while collaborating with various teams to meet aggressive delivery timelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess the security posture of a multi-domain Active Directory environment and identify vulnerabilities and control gaps
• Develop and implement a prioritized remediation plan for Active Directory hardening in coordination with infrastructure and security teams
• Review and secure privileged groups, administrative accounts, and Group Policy Objects while improving privileged-access controls

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on Microsoft Active Directory experience in large enterprise environments
• 5+ years of advanced Active Directory engineering, architecture, or security experience
• Demonstrated experience with multiple Active Directory security hardening and assessment engagements
• Strong expertise in multi-domain environments, domain controllers, and Group Policy design
• Proficient in PowerShell for discovery, reporting, validation, and remediation tasks
