Senior Actuarial Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Actuarial Analyst to support savings initiatives and predictive modeling efforts in the health plan.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and refine actuarial methodologies for managed care savings initiatives
• Evaluate financial impacts of cost management strategies in collaboration with clinical and operational teams
• Build predictive models to forecast utilization and analyze cost and utilization trends

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Finance, or a related field
• Successful completion of 4+ exams of the Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA) designation
• 5 years of healthcare actuarial experience
• Experience writing queries in SQL or another programming language
• Demonstrated project management experience in data-related and financial analysis projects
