Senior Actuarial Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Actuarial Analyst to provide advanced actuarial support in healthcare consulting engagements.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct medical cost analyses and develop actuarial rate models for various populations
• Support financial forecasting, budget development, and prepare client deliverables
• Collaborate with data science teams and provide mentorship to junior actuarial staff

Required Qualifications

• Pursuing ASA designation with completion of at least 4 SOA exams; ASA preferred
• 3-6 years of actuarial experience in healthcare or a related field
• Proficiency in data analysis tools including SQL and at least one programming language (SAS, R, Python)
• Experience with healthcare claims data and financial modeling
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and deliver high-quality work on deadline
