Senior Actuarial Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Actuarial Analyst to support its Actuarial team in enhancing data-driven business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain internal CMS HCC and RxHCC models for calculating member level risk scores
• Support the monthly close process and develop actuarial risk adjusted revenue accruals
• Build automated actuarial tools and data pipelines to improve efficiency and transparency

Required Qualifications

• At least one year of experience in health insurance, preferably with Medicare
• Completion of at least two actuarial exams
• Two years of experience with Medicare Risk Adjustment and healthcare claims data
• At least two years of programming experience in SQL, R, Python, SAS, or VBA
• Interest in building automated tools around actuarial analysis and experience with analytic dashboards
