Senior Actuarial Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Actuarial Analyst to assist in financial analysis and forecasting for health insurance products.

Key Responsibilities

• Apply mathematical and statistical knowledge to calculate financial outcomes related to healthcare cost forecasting
• Analyze and evaluate premium rates and financial outcomes for individual health insurance products
• Develop data reports and communicate analytical findings to both technical and non-technical audiences

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
• Combination of years of experience and number of actuarial exams passed must equal or exceed 5 (Rule of 5)
• Experience in a data-driven analytical role
• Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with analytical tools like R
• Ability to work in ambiguous or evolving problem spaces
