Senior Actuarial Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Actuarial Analyst to support financial evaluation related analytics and research for Commercial and Medicaid lines of business.

Key Responsibilities

• Apply actuarial principles to build models and perform analysis for forecasting, risk management, and contracting
• Work with healthcare data from various sources to perform actuarial analysis and generate strategic insights
• Become a data expert on the financial structure of value-based contracting to aid in business decision-making

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 2-4 years of actuarial or related experience
• Two SOA exams toward the ASA credential
• Experience with actuarial analysis and model building
• Experience with healthcare data sources such as medical claims and risk scores
