Job Summary
To support the growth of the organization, the full-time Senior Actuarial Analyst will build actuarial models and studies that guide decision-making in pricing, forecasting, and value-based care contract performance while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Design and perform actuarial studies related to medical costs and revenue, providing insights to executive leadership
- Inform financial forecasts with actuarially-sound studies and collaborate with teams to optimize results
- Support pricing and underwriting efforts by analyzing historical and predictive data to recommend risk-sharing arrangements
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in actuarial studies, statistics, or a related field preferred
- Progress towards Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA)
- 2-5 years of experience in the healthcare actuarial field with knowledge of health insurance product design
- Value-based contracting modeling experience strongly preferred
- Proficient in Excel, Databricks, SQL, SAS, or other coding languages
