Senior Actuarial Analyst

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Senior Actuarial Analyst will develop analytical tools and frameworks to support executive decision-making across various functions, while collaborating with senior leaders to address business needs through SQL and Excel-based solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and validate actuarial and analytic models from scratch, ensuring adherence to team standards
• Conduct deep-dive, ad hoc analyses to answer complex business questions and present findings to stakeholders
• Manage analytic projects independently from planning through delivery, translating business problems into structured methodologies

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of relevant experience with strong analytical and coding skills
• Intermediate SQL skills, with the ability to write complex queries
• Strong proficiency in Excel; experience with SAS or similar tools is a plus
• Demonstrated ability to build analytical tools in ambiguous environments
