Senior Actuarial Analyst

Job Summary

To support the company's growth, the full-time Senior Actuarial Analyst will build actuarial models and studies that guide decision-making across pricing, forecasting, and value-based care contract performance while working remotely.

Key responsibilities:

• Design and perform actuarial studies related to medical costs and revenue, providing insights for executive leadership
• Inform financial forecasts with actuarially-sound studies and collaborate with teams to recommend optimizations
• Contribute to pricing and underwriting discussions by utilizing historic and predictive analytics for risk-sharing arrangements

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in actuarial studies, statistics, or a related field preferred
• Progress towards Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA)
• 2-5 years of experience in the healthcare actuarial field, particularly with Medicare and Medicaid
• Experience in value-based contracting modeling and government healthcare contracts preferred
• Proficiency in Excel, Databricks, SQL, SAS, or other coding languages
