Job Summary
To support the company's growth, the full-time Senior Actuarial Analyst will build actuarial models and studies that guide decision-making across pricing, forecasting, and value-based care contract performance while working remotely.
Key responsibilities:
- Design and perform actuarial studies related to medical costs and revenue, providing insights for executive leadership
- Inform financial forecasts with actuarially-sound studies and collaborate with teams to recommend optimizations
- Contribute to pricing and underwriting discussions by utilizing historic and predictive analytics for risk-sharing arrangements
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in actuarial studies, statistics, or a related field preferred
- Progress towards Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA)
- 2-5 years of experience in the healthcare actuarial field, particularly with Medicare and Medicaid
- Experience in value-based contracting modeling and government healthcare contracts preferred
- Proficiency in Excel, Databricks, SQL, SAS, or other coding languages
