Senior Actuarial Analyst

Job Summary

Seeking a driven and curious Senior Actuarial Analyst, this full-time remote position will design and enhance pricing models, perform analyses to support underwriting decisions, and mentor junior analysts while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities:

• Design and enhance actuarial pricing models and methodologies for informed underwriting decisions
• Perform account- and portfolio-level pricing analyses focused on Casualty and other lines
• Collaborate with Underwriting, Finance, Claims, and Reinsurance teams to evaluate programs and analyze portfolios

Required qualifications:

• Typically 5-8 years of experience in an actuarial role with a focus on pricing
• Strong understanding of actuarial pricing techniques and data analytics in the property & casualty industry
• Proficiency in SQL and Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with programming languages such as Python, VBA, or R is a plus
• Minimum of 5 actuarial exams passed; ACAS or FCAS designation preferred
• Demonstrated interest in mentoring and contributing to process improvement and innovation
