Job Summary
Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Senior Actuarial Analyst will analyze financial and statistical data, support rate development and regulatory filings, and assist in financial forecasting and healthcare data analytics.
Key responsibilities:
- Analyzes financial, statistical, and mathematical data while performing actuarial calculations
- Leads or supports rate development and regulatory rate filings, including preparing data for inquiries
- Generates ideas for corporate initiatives and maintains established reports for internal and regulatory needs
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Finance, Economics, or related fields
- At least 4 years of progressively responsible experience in actuarial analysis and data modeling
- Experience with SQL and SAS or other statistical software
- Proficiency in MS Office products, particularly Excel
- Experience in managed healthcare or insurance operations is preferred
