Job Summary
Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Senior Actuarial Analyst will conduct advanced actuarial analysis, financial modeling, and data-driven insights across various areas including reserves, risk adjustment, and pharmacy analytics.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain actuarial models to support reserve balances, forecasting, and financial projections
- Analyze healthcare cost and utilization trends to inform pricing and financial planning activities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate complex analytics into actionable business insights
Required qualifications
- 3-5 years of relevant work experience in actuarial analysis or a related field
- College degree with a minor in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, or economics
- ASA designation or completion of the majority of courses for the ASA designation
- Previous knowledge of Medicare Advantage is preferred
- Programming experience in SQL, R, or Python is a plus
