Job Summary
Supporting business decision-making, the full-time Senior Actuarial Analyst will assist in financial analysis, pricing, and risk assessment while working remotely from anywhere within the Continental United States.
Key responsibilities
- Connect and analyze various healthcare data sources to identify and quantify savings opportunities
- Communicate findings and recommendations effectively to project leadership and stakeholders
- Build actuarial models with clear assumptions and prepare key input data from large relational datasets
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 5 years of combined actuarial experience and passed actuarial exams (Rule of 5)
- Experience in healthcare analytics, cost trend analysis, and medical claims analysis
- Proficiency in mathematics, probability, and statistics as applied to financial outcomes
- Ability to navigate and consolidate large datasets with varying levels of data granularity
