Senior Actuarial Analyst

Job Summary

Supporting Value-Based Care initiatives, the full-time Senior Actuarial Analyst will assist in financial analysis, pricing, and risk assessment while working remotely within the Continental U.S.

Key responsibilities:

• Apply mathematical and statistical knowledge to calculate financial outcomes and develop trends based on data analysis
• Analyze vendor fees and shared savings arrangements, and support the development of financial models for VBC contracts
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to prepare financial analyses and identify data discrepancies

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
• Combination of years of actuarial experience and passed actuarial exams must equal or exceed 5 (Rule of 5)
• Healthcare experience preferred, including claims analysis and familiarity with healthcare datasets
• Proficiency in tools such as Excel, SQL, SAS, Python, Snowflake, and/or Teradata
• Strong analytical skills with a focus on collaboration and communication
