Senior Actuarial Data Analyst

Job Summary

To support impactful financial strategies in healthcare, the full-time Senior Actuarial Data Analyst will develop and maintain reports and analytics, ensuring accuracy and compliance while utilizing advanced tools like SQL and Tableau, with the flexibility to work remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, document, and maintain financial reports and analytics to support leadership decision-making
• Ensure accuracy and timeliness of routine and ad hoc reports while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders
• Lead medical claims reinsurance reporting and support the preparation of provider group financial statements

Required qualifications

• Minimum of five years of relevant experience in an actuarial role focused on claims reserves and IBNR estimation
• Proficiency in technical tools such as MS Excel, SQL, Tableau, Access, and Python
• Experience in performing complex data analysis and developing reports/dashboards in a healthcare setting
• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent years of experience
• Strong analytical skills with a capacity to multi-task while maintaining attention to detail
