Senior Actuarial Data Scientist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Sr Applied ML Data Scientist (Actuary).

Key Responsibilities

• Design and optimize large-scale data pipelines, develop predictive models, and automate finance processes
• Apply statistical and AI/ML techniques for data exploration, feature engineering, and model validation
• Ingest and cleanse financial and actuarial data, ensuring integrity and completeness for modeling datasets

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative discipline or equivalent experience
• 6-8 years in data engineering, actuarial modeling, or analytics-focused roles
• 2+ years of hands-on machine learning modeling and development experience
• Strong programming skills in Python, with proficiency in PySpark and SQL
• Experience within financial services or insurance environments preferred
