Senior Actuary, Outcomes

Job Summary

Bringing actuarial depth to Maven's Clinical Outcomes team, the full-time Senior Actuary, Outcomes will manage claims projections, conduct healthcare analytics, and support client-facing strategies in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Own claims and savings projections, including performance guarantee assessments and value-based care modeling
• Build and maintain actuarial and ROI models in Excel, ensuring methodological rigor for team workflows
• Support RFP responses with actuarial projections and engage with clients and brokers to discuss outcomes methodology

Required qualifications

• An FSA, ASA, or equivalent actuarial credential, or a graduate degree with 6+ years of relevant actuarial or healthcare analytics experience
• Strong analysis design, modeling, and data manipulation skills, with the ability to produce client-ready outputs
• Proficiency in SQL and Excel, with experience using AI for data exploration and analysis
• Excellent presentation skills for communicating technical material to non-technical audiences
• Deep familiarity with healthcare claims data, including cost modeling and trend analysis
