Senior Actuary Underwriter

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Underwriter - Actuary for a remote position.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform technical analysis and develop opinions on loss portfolio transfers and reinsurance treaty submissions
• Conduct due diligence and underwriting support for other entities within the organization
• Coordinate technical analysis and attend meetings with brokers and clients regarding reinsurance submissions

Required Qualifications

• 11+ years of experience in insurance/reinsurance, particularly in underwriting, finance, or transactions
• Four-year degree in Actuarial Sciences, Mathematics, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or equivalent experience
• FCAS accreditation preferred
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring immigration sponsorship
• New York area preferred but open to remote candidates
