Job Summary
Managing workplace accommodation requests under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the full-time Senior ADA Specialist will ensure compliance with federal and state regulations while collaborating with employees, managers, and healthcare providers in a remote setting.
Key responsibilities
- Manages ADA accommodation requests from intake through resolution, ensuring legal compliance and company policy adherence
- Utilizes technology to track and document ADA accommodations and related leave cases
- Provides training to managers and HR partners on ADA compliance and best practices for handling accommodation requests
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field with three years of relevant experience, including two years of ADA experience; or an Associate's degree with five years of experience; or a High School Diploma with seven years of experience
- Specialized knowledge of ADA compliance and the interactive process
- Proficiency with HRIS and case management systems
- Experience with ADA request management technology
- Ability to manage confidential information with discretion
