Senior ADABAS Mainframe Programmer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior ADABAS Mainframe Systems Programmer.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform mainframe database software upgrades, administration, and tuning for ADABAS environments
• Manage day-to-day database maintenance, including backups, restores, and performance tuning
• Provide 24/7 on-call support and maintain documentation for all completed tasks

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
• 10+ years of experience with Software AG ADABAS/Natural and related products
• Extensive knowledge of database administration, performance tuning, and disaster recovery procedures
• Experience in managing vendor relations and resolving database issues
• Ability to work in a 24/7 multi-database environment and handle competing priorities
