Senior Adjuster - Liability Claims

Job Summary

Handling complex homeowner liability claims remotely, the full-time Senior Adjuster - Liability Claims will investigate incidents such as dog bites and slip-and-falls, manage litigation-focused caseloads, and negotiate settlements while delivering exceptional customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Negotiate and settle claims in accordance with business unit best practices
• Review policy language to determine coverage and analyze medical reports for claims settlement evaluation
• Coordinate the appraisal process for highly complex, disputed claims, ensuring adherence to policy provisions

Required qualifications

• Experience in handling higher-severity bodily injury claims
• Strong understanding of the litigation process related to complex claims
• Ability to evaluate coverage, liability, and damages effectively
• Proficiency in using claims platforms and tools for negotiation and settlement
• Experience working with policyholder attorneys and other claim stakeholders
