Job Summary
To enhance cybersecurity efforts, the full-time Senior Adversary Pursuit Engineer (CJIS Certified) will develop and execute threat hunts, collaborate with security teams, and improve detection capabilities in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Architect and execute threat hunts and technical cybersecurity exercises to improve detection and response capabilities
- Collaborate with Cybersecurity, Engineering, and Product teams to identify visibility gaps and provide recommendations for improvements
- Serve as a technical mentor, guiding junior engineers and reviewing their work to elevate the team's technical proficiency
Required qualifications
- Over 5 years of cybersecurity experience, with at least 3 years focused on DFIR/Threat Hunts
- Extensive technical expertise in adversary threat hunts across diverse environments, including cloud platforms
- Experience with enterprise security tools (SIEM, EDR) and developing proprietary tools/scripts
- Knowledge of the MITRE ATT&CK framework and ability to create high-fidelity detection rules
- Ability to obtain and maintain Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) certification
