Job Summary
Advising the Head of the Secretariat, the full-time Senior Advisor, Partnerships and Finance will strengthen the Joint SDG Fund's partnerships and catalytic financing efforts, focusing on resource mobilization and innovative financing strategies while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of strategic partnerships with non-Member State stakeholders to advance financing pathways
- Provide strategic guidance on blended finance innovation and facilitate collaborative co-creation processes with external partners
- Contribute to knowledge management by monitoring contributions and results while adapting best practices in partnership development
Required qualifications
- An advanced university degree (Master's) in International Development, Political Science, or related fields, or a Bachelor's degree with additional qualifying experience
- A minimum of 10 years of professional experience in strategic partnerships and relationship management, including engagement with development finance institutions
- Proven ability to secure funding and develop aligned proposals for large projects
- Demonstrated experience providing strategic advice to senior leadership in multi-entity contexts
- Fluency in written and spoken English; knowledge of another UN official language is desirable
