Senior Advisor - Tobacco Control

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Advisor for State and Local Tobacco Control Initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver customized technical assistance to state and local partners on evidence-based tobacco control programs and policies
• Provide expert analysis on tobacco control principles, including flavor restrictions and youth access enforcement
• Support jurisdictions in applying evidence-based practices and develop performance measures for tobacco control programs

Required Qualifications

• Master's degree in public health, public administration, public policy, demography, or a related field
• Minimum of 10 years of direct experience in tobacco control with progressive leadership experience
• In-depth knowledge of evidence-based tobacco control strategies
• Strong understanding of state and local health department structures
• Proven ability to build relationships with public health agencies and community organizations
