Job Summary
To support strategic advocacy initiatives, the full-time Senior Advocacy Advisor will provide leadership and technical assistance on nutrition policy for the prenatal-to-three population, collaborating with various stakeholders and managing project metrics, while working remotely or onsite in Dallas, TX.
Key responsibilities
- Engages external organizations and lawmakers to drive policy change efforts focused on nutrition for the prenatal-to-three population
- Tracks project metrics and collaborates across teams to maximize impact and achieve funder deliverables
- Develops training and technical resources to enhance advocacy skills among external partners and grantees
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in advocacy or policy
- Strong background in government relations and legislative affairs
- Experience in coalition building and community organizing
- Proficient in grant management and media advocacy
