Senior Advocacy Advisor

Job Summary

To support nutrition policy advocacy for the prenatal-to-three population, the full-time Senior Advocacy Advisor will provide strategic leadership, project management, and technical support while working remotely or onsite, coordinating with various stakeholders to implement advocacy initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage nutrition-focused project initiatives, engaging external organizations and lawmakers to drive policy change
• Track project metrics and collaborate across teams to maximize impact and achieve funder deliverables
• Develop and implement customized technical assistance plans to enhance advocacy skills and capacity among external partners and grantees

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in advocacy or public policy
• Experience in government relations and legislative affairs
• Strong background in coalition building and community organizing
• Proficiency in grant management and advocacy communications
