Job Summary

To support health policy initiatives, the full-time Senior Advocacy Advisor will manage strategic leadership and project management for nutrition-focused advocacy efforts, collaborating with various stakeholders and ensuring effective implementation of campaigns and technical assistance plans, with the option for home-based work.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and project management for nutrition policy advocacy efforts targeting the prenatal-to-three population
• Develop and implement collaborative relationships with stakeholders to enhance nutrition policy development and advocacy
• Design and manage strategies across teams, serving as a liaison to advocacy teams to advance public policy priorities

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in advocacy or public policy
• Experience in coalition building and community organizing
• Knowledge of legislative affairs and government relations
• Proven ability in grant management and project oversight
