Senior Advocacy Advisor

Job Summary

To support nutrition policy advocacy for the prenatal-to-three population, the full-time Senior Advocacy Advisor will manage strategic leadership and project management efforts, collaborating with various stakeholders and ensuring successful implementation of advocacy initiatives in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and project management for nutrition-focused initiatives by engaging external organizations and policymakers
• Accountable for tracking project metrics and driving impact to achieve funder deliverables related to PN-3 nutrition projects
• Develop collaborative relationships with experts and advocacy entities to enhance PN-3 nutrition policy development and implementation

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in advocacy or public policy
• Experience in coalition building and community organizing
• Knowledge of legislative affairs and grant management
• Proficiency in training and coaching external partners
