Senior Advocacy Advisor

Job Summary

To support nutrition policy advocacy for the prenatal-to-three population, the full-time Senior Advocacy Advisor will provide strategic leadership, manage project metrics, and develop collaborative relationships with stakeholders while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Lead nutrition-focused project management for Voices for Healthy Kids, engaging external organizations and lawmakers in policy change efforts
• Track initiative metrics to drive impact and achieve funder deliverables, collaborating across teams to maximize project effectiveness
• Develop training and technical resource tools to enhance advocacy skills and capacity of external partners and grantees

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
• Experience in government relations and legislative affairs
• Proven track record in coalition building and community organizing
• Strong background in grant management and media advocacy
