Senior Advocacy Advisor

Job Summary

To support nutrition policy advocacy for the prenatal-to-three population, the full-time Senior Advocacy Advisor will provide strategic leadership, manage project metrics, and develop collaborative relationships with stakeholders, while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and project management for nutrition-focused initiatives, engaging external organizations and lawmakers
• Track and report on project metrics to drive impact and achieve funder deliverables related to PN-3 nutrition advocacy
• Develop training and technical resource tools to enhance advocacy skills of external partners and ensure effective campaign support

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in advocacy or public policy
• Experience in government relations and legislative affairs
• Knowledge of coalition building and community organizing
• Strong background in grant management and project implementation
