Senior Advocacy Advisor

Job Summary

To support advocacy efforts, the full-time Senior Advocacy Advisor will provide strategic leadership and technical support for nutrition policy initiatives focused on the prenatal-to-three population, collaborating with various stakeholders and managing project metrics while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Engage external organizations and lawmakers to drive policy change for nutrition initiatives targeting the prenatal-to-three population
• Track project metrics and collaborate across teams to maximize impact and achieve funder deliverables
• Develop training resources and technical assistance plans to enhance advocacy skills among external partners and grantees

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in advocacy or public policy
• Experience in government relations and legislative affairs
• Proven track record in coalition building and community organizing
• Strong writing and public speaking skills
